About The SIFMA Foundation (formerly The Bond Market Foundation)

The Foundation for Investor Education (FIE), The Bond Market Foundation (TBMF), and the New York District Economic Education Foundation, merged to form the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Foundation for Investor Education (SIFMA Foundation).

The SIFMA Foundation formerly the Bond Market Foundation (TBMF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable and educational entity.

For more than 33 years, on behalf of industry and market members, the non-profit charitable and educational Foundations have collectively administered an array of award-winning, instructional programs that have advanced the financial education and literacy of millions of people of all ages; provided tools to help individuals increase their understanding of personal finance; partnered with many key leaders and organisations in the US and globally; and supported civic leaders, teachers and others in their financial literacy and investor education initiatives.

Current Foundation programs include:

  • The Tomorrowsmoney.org Web-based Program – five adult financial literacy skill-building websites -- Tomorrowsmoney.org site for women; Tomorrowsmoney.org site for young adults just starting out; www.unwantedchange.org for people experiencing the financial impact of unwanted life changes; and our sites for Spanish speakers, www.ahorrando.org and www.cambiosinesperados.org
